Reference Bucks

The vast majority of the bucks pictured here have lived on our farm and can be found somewhere in the background of at least one of our does. Bucks can certainly have varrying degrees of influence on any given herd, and the bucks pictured are not neccesarily the ones that have had the most influence, rather, they are the ones I thought to put on the page before deleting their information from my web site.

Curbstone Valley Tigris *B
DOB 2/28/17

Sire: Curbstone Valley Sheldon *B *S
(CH Castle Rock Abraham Darby *B *S x Castle Rock Neve Ice 2*M 4*D)

Dam: GCH Algedi Farm RB Ocean Flower 1*M *D EEEE 92
(Camanna CC Rhythm 'N Blues x CH Algedi Farm DJ Splash O'Honey VVEE 90)

Tigris does not actually belong to Castle Rock Farm, but he is living here, and is earning his keep by siring some of our kids. His dam is a phenominal doe who has held up well over time, even going Best Doe in Show at age eight at the extremely competitive Redwood Empire Dairy Goat Show, so we're happy to have a chance to get some of her genetics in the mix. His sire combines the general appearance of our rose/sun line with our bad weather line- combining general appearance and milk production- which is what we're all working towards. His one freshened daughter here has a very nice flat bone pattern and lovely udder texture, so we're happy with what we are seeing so far.

Caprine Acres HS Cooper
DOB 02/14/15

Sire: Caprine Acres SG Hott Shott
(GCH AGS Brush Creek Smokin Gun +B x Kaapio Acres AD Hot Tamale)
Dam: CH Kaapio Acres AD Carina EEEE 92
(Rosasharn UP Andromida *B x AGS Kaapio Acre's RM Quasar)

We've been looking to mix up the gene pool here a bit, as we've done just about every combination of the bloodlines we already have here we can while still maintaining some genetic diversity. When the opportunity to obtain a Carina son presented itself, I realized he was potentially exactly what we were looking for. Then he arrived, and I was so happy to have him join the herd- excited enough that he is getting bred to several of our top does. Like his dam, he has beautiful blending and really nice general appearance, with dairy skin and a flat dairy bone pattern. This was the best picture I could get (he was flirting with a lady)- hopefully we'll get a better one eventually- he is so friendly that it is very difficult to get far enough away from him to get his whole body in the frame.

Camanna Jimson Weed
DOB 03/10/15

Sire: Old Mountain Farm Frankincense
(Old Mountain Farm Mithra +B x Old Mountain Farm Nilam Bukit 2*M)
Dam: CH Camanna CT Jocelyn
(Tahoma Citation x OTR Juniper's Guinevere)

I've been waiting for a while for a buck kid out of Jocelyn, and am very happy that he is here! Jocelyn is a lovely doe, who, according to her breeder, has persistant production, and "the highest rear udder attachment I have ever seen on a Nigerian". She has a lovely topline, and nice dairy character- something we are certainly seeing in her son here. We have high hopes that this guy will pass on his dairy character and his dam's lovely, well attached udder to his daughters.

We lost Jimmy in the spring of 2018 to an aggressive Listeriosis, and will miss his friendly face. We feel fortunate to have retained two of his sons in the herd.
Castle Rock Moon Raker ++*B
DOB 02/11/14

Sire: SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage ++*B *S
(Castle Rock Tanzanite +*B *S x SGCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Alum Root 1*M 3*D VEEE 91)
Dam: GCH CRF Castle Rock Moon River 2*M 3*D EEEE 91
(Rosasharn's TL Sitka Spruce ++B +*S x SGCH-MCH Castle Rock Once Ina Blue Moon 2*D'VG')

Every year, we have a kid who really stands out to us and to farm visitors, and Moonraker was that kid in 2014 (as was his sire in 2011). He is a striking red and white with blue eyes, though it was his very sweet demenor and extreme handsomness (before we settled on his official name, he was referred to as "El Guapo") that really caught everyone's attention. I really admire the consistant udder corectness and structure I am seeing in my "Moon line", and am happy to add this River son to the buck pasture. He has a strong front end assembly, good spring of rib, width and depth of barrel, and walks on strong pasterns. He is a full brother to our SGCH Moon Beam EEEE 92, and his littermate sister, SGCH Castle Rock River of Rain, went Best Junior Doe in Show at just three months old.

Castle Rock Sugar Daddy *B
DOB 02/18/13

Sire: CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir ++*B +S
(Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++*B ++*S x CH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90)
Dam: GCH Castle Rock Sweet Heart 2*M 6*D
(Castle Rock Harvest Moon +B *S x ARMCH-GCH Algedi Farm S Honey Heart 1*M 5*D )

Sugar Daddy can make taking pictures of the other bucks in our buck pasture quite a challenge because he wants to be right in front of me so he can soak up all of the attention. This is his "why did you stop giving me scratches?" face. He is very flat boned and dairy, while also being long bodied and sharp. I like his brisket extension and the placement of his front legs, his angularity, and depth of body- especially since Guy Noir sons don't tend to develop that until at least three years of age. His first freshening maternal half sister (Sweet N Low) can be seen on our first fresheners page, and she's shown us that Sweet Heart is passing along her good traits to her offspring.

Castle Rock Black Oak *S
DOB 4/28/12

Sire: Castle Rock Pound Foolish *S
(Castle Rock Bentley *S x SGCH CRF Castle Rock Penny Wise 1*M 3*D VVEE 90)
Dam: GCH Castle Rock Sarafina 2*M 2*D
(Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++*S ++B x ARMCH/GCH/PGCH Esperanza WS Sara 1*M *D'VG' VEVV 88)

Black Oak represents the combination of two doe lines that rise to the top of my "yes!" list. Both Sarafina and Penny Wise are very dairy does, with great production, conformation, and will to milk. I love the profile on this buck- the placement of the front legs, the brisket extension, levelness of topline, blending, and angularity are all traits I would like to see him pass on, as well as the will to milk and productivity of his dam and granddams. He also has flatness of bone and good sweep to his ribs, and the quiet sense of dignity of his mother.

Castle Rock Graupel *B *S
DOB 3/03/12

Sire: Castle Rock Cleveland Sage ++*B *S
(Castle Rock Tanzanite *S x SGCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Alum Root 3*D VEEE 91)
Dam: SGCH CRF Castle Rock Blizzard 1*M 3*D VEEE 91
(Lost Valley KW Stetson +*S x Castle Rock SnowFlurryCeanothus 2*D AR 1988)

Graupel is the result of a decision to try to emphasize the genetics of Castle Rock SnowFluryCeanothus, a doe who produced the two highest appraising does in the herd thus far. Graupel has lots of dairy character, and as a young kid was very long bodied and eye catching. His front end is well put together with good placement of front legs, strong pasturns, and very good brisket extension. Looking at his pedigree, he should produce daughters with improved dairy character and very well attached, productive mammary systems. He is very laid back and sweet.

I couldn't resist keeping another Cleveland Sage son in 2014 (Castle Rock Moonraker), and since I still have Cleveland in the herd, we've allowed this boy to move on to a new home.

Castle Rock Clark's Nutcracker
DOB 3/13/12 blue eyes

Sire: CRF Castle Rock Harvest Moon ++*B *S
(Rosasharn TL Sitka Spruce +*S x MCH-SGCH Castle Rock Once Ina Blue Moon 2*D )
Dam: CH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90
(Promisland CP Yellowjacket x Pecan Hollow Bonnie Blue)

I decided to keep a buck out of Raven as a back up for Guy Noir, but when I lost Raven to heliotrope toxin during the summer of 2012, I was doubly happy I had decided to keep this guy. From the beginning, Clark has looked like a shrinky-dink version of an adult goat, seeming to never go through any awkward growth stages unlike many kids (cough)Graupel(cough). He has a good front end assembly, lots of space between the ribs, strong topline, and a high, wide escutcheon arch, all set on a good set of feet and legs.

Castle Rock Triumph +*B *S
DOB 2/28/12

Sire: SG Fairlea Barnaby Rudge +*B *S
(Rosasharns Julius *S x ARMCH Fairlea Gretchen 2*D E)
Dam: GCH CRF Castle Rock Tesla 2*M 5*D VVEE 90
(Woodhaven Farms Latigo x SG-ARMCH Lost Valley TB Infinity 4*D)

When I saw Triumph's full (but older) sister as a first freshener, I was happy I had decided to keep this buck as a replacement for his sire- she was very long bodied with an udder that was attached everywhere. Triumph is long bodied, levels out while on the move, has a sharp front end, good width between the hocks, and looks like he will stay well within height. His littermate sister, La Jamais Contente, freshened with a beautiful, well attached udder as a first freshener, and we've been quite happy with Triumph's 2014 kid crop.

Castle Rock Pound Foolish *S
DOB 2/05/11

Sire: Castle Rock Bentley *S
(Rosasharn TL Sitka Spruce *S x ARMCH Lost Valley TB Infinity 4*D)
Dam: SGCH CRF Castle Rock Penny Wise 1*M 3*D VVEE 90
(CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir +B +S x Castle Rock Money Penny 2*D)

When Penny Wise freshened last year with an even better udder than the previous year, I decided that I would keep one of her bucks, just for those does (both mine and outside the herd) that needed a boost in udder capacity. Then she went out to her first show weekend of the year and won three champion legs in a row, has her SGCH, and made the 2011 305 day Top Ten list for milk production, butterfat production and protein production, and has a Linear Appraisal score of VVEE 90. Glad I kept this boy! He's related to quite a bit of my herd, so may not get that much action this year, but certainly has a whole lot of potential to pass on flat bone, dairy character, lots of milk, and, large, milkable teats.

Castle Rock Cyclone
DOB 4/19/11

Sire: BRB SS Dust In The Wind
(Twin Creeks BW Storm Surge +S x Piddlin Acres Nota Gossip)
Dam: SGCH CRF Castle Rock Blizzard 3*D VEEE 91
(Lost Valley KW Stetson *S x Castle Rock SnowFlurryCeanothus 2*D AR 1988)

Cyclone is a nice dairy buck with good length of body, angulation, flatness of bone, and spring of rib. His dam has gotten better with age- a trait we always like to see! She is a wonderful milker, with excellent dairyness and a rump I would love to see on more of my does. Cyclone's sire, Dust In the Wind, has been making improvements in his daughters, so I am hoping he will be a nice outcross of sorts for us. So far his kids have had improved front end assemblies and increased length of body.

SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage ++*B *S
DOB 2/05/11
2015 & 2016 Elite Sire List!
Premier Sire at the 2019 National Show

Sire: Castle Rock Tanzanite +*B *S
(CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir ++B +S x SGCH Algedi Farm H Purple Rain 4*M 4*D VVEE 90)
Dam: SGCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Alum Root 3*D VEEE 91
(Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++B ++*S x Castle Rock SnowFlurryCeanothus 2*D AR 1988)

Cleveland is a very exciting cross that brings together a combination of exceptional dairyness, udder structure and capacity. His dam has near ideal teat placement, with wonderful rear udder height, an exceptionally strong MSL, and wonderful overall structure. Even with the large kidding season we had, this boy stood out to just about everyone who came to the farm- he's very masculine and charismatic, while still being very friendly and quite dairy. Talk about friendly- when everyone else goes running to the food, this guy hangs back so he can have some one on one snuggle time, which is very sweet...but really stinky!

At the 2015 National Show, Cleveland was the sire of the second place Senior Get of Sire entry, and at the 2019 National Show his daughters won first place Get of Sire, and he was awarded Premier Sire! Several of his daughters have earned Best in Show wins as juniors, including SGCH Castle Rock Breakin My Heart, GCH Castle Rock Nikita VVEE 90, SGCH Castle Rock River of Rain, and GCH Castle Rock Leucosia EEEE 91. Other finished daughters include: National Champion CH Castle Rock Tahitian Sunset VEVE 90, SGCH Castle Rock Moon Beam VEEE 92, SGCH Sierra Aspen Sky Pilot 2*M VEEE 90, CH Castle RockPolar Vortex VEVE 91, and SGCH Castle Rock Angelika VEEE 90. Cleveland's unexpected passing left me so upset that I could not talk about it for over a year, but I am greatful for the indelible mark he left on our herd.

Castle Rock Chicago Peace ++*B
DOB 2/06/11 polled

Sire: Copper Penny ROF Calico Jack
(Twin Creeks FAX Ring of Fire x MCH Ponders End MB Nevis)
Dam: GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun *D 1*M VEEE 90
(Woodhaven Farms Latigo +S x TX Twin Creeks WDF Sunsprite)

I really admire the general appearance of Chico's sire and dam- both get quite a few compliments in the show ring for being long and uphill with good dairy character and blending. Tuscan Sun has a pliable udder with easy to milk teats, strong foreudder, high rear udder and good capacity. Combine that with his being polled (naturally hornless), and I couldn't resist retaining this guy. His daughters are showing consistency in beautiful general appearance, though their first freshening is usually rather underwhelming, as was his littermate sister's- GCH Castle Rock Sunsilk EEEE 91. The second freshening tends to be much better, and worth the wait.

Our sweet, mellow guy has moved on to a new life with a trusted friend in Texas. We hope he does good things for you, Michelle!

Castle Rock Tanzanite +*B *S
DOB 3/22/10

Sire: CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir ++*B +S
(Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++*S ++B x CH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90)
Dam: SGCH Algedi Farm H Purple Rain 4*M 4*D VVEE 90
(Rosasharn's UMT Hamachi *B x CH Rosasharn's TL Zenith 3*D EEVE 90)

When I decided that I was going to retain a buck out of Purple Rain, I paired her with one of my favorite bucks on the farm, and got Tanzanite. Rain is one of our heavier producers, and on Linear Appraisal received very strong marks on dairyness, rump width, foreudder attachment, rear udder height, rear udder arch and medial suspensory ligament. He is the sire of our first National Champion and Best Udder doe, Castle Rock Flash Flood.

We unexpectedly lost Tanzanite in a freak incident (he basically choked to death on his own cud) in the summer of 2012. Thank goodness I had kept his son, Cleveland Sage from his first kid crop.

Castle Rock Jasper Quilles +*B
DOB 3/22/10

Sire: CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir ++*B +S
(Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++*S ++*B x GCH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90 1*M)
Dam: SGCH Algedi Farm H Purple Rain 4*M 4*D VVEE 90
(Rosasharn's UMT Hamachi ++*B x CH Rosasharn's TL Zenith 3*M 3*D EEVE 90)

This sweet, sweet old guy is a littermate brother to our Tanzanite- the sire of our 2015 National Champion as well as our lovely Cleveland Sage. I'm thrilled to have him back at the farm, though I'm not sure how happy he is to have to put up with our extreme summer heat, but he is too much of a gentleman to even think of complaining. Jasper is very long and very dairy and levels out nicely on the move, and our first two daughters from him have freshened with capacious, high, well attached udders. At nine years old, his fertility is a bit spotty, but we are quite happy that he's managing to still put kids on the ground.

When I sold this buck as a kid, he was named Jasper, like the stone. The young lady who purchased him added Quilles to his name, which was not approved, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why, and we had some words after I found out about this because changing a goat's name after the breeder has approved it is NOT OKAY EVER. As far as I am concerned, his name is just Jasper, and I have no use for the word that follows.

Castle Rock Bentley *S
DOB 2/05/10

Sire: Rosasharn TL Sitka Spruce *S
(ARMCH Rosasharn's Tiger L ++*S E x ARMCH Rosasharn's UMT Sassafras 5*D E)
Dam: ARMCH Lost Valley TB Infinity 4*D
(MCH Lost Valley Tae-Bo *S x MCH Lost Valley Mercedes 3*D)

Sometimes it takes a little extra time for kids to really start coming together, and Bentley is a very good example of that. When he first hit the ground, he wasn't nearly as eye catching as his brothers and sister (Kharmann Ghia), but eventually,I started to notice how nice he was looking, and when I put my hands on him, I realized that he was incredibly dairy and flat boned. At just a month old, there was already enough space between his ribs to easily fit my thumb! This is a less than flattering picture of him, but at least it gives an idea of length, and we appreciated the improvements we were seeing in his daughters. However, Harvest Moon, another Sitka son has been fairly heavily used, plus I decided to keep a buck out of Bentley's maternal sister, which really narrowed down who I could use Bentley with. With the buck pasture already crowded, I decided to let him move on.

CRF Castle Rock Harvest Moon ++B *S
DOB 3/28/09 blue eyes

Sire: Rosasharn's TL Sitka Spruce ++B +*S

Dam: SGCH-MCH Castle Rock Once Ina Blue Moon 2*D
(PGCH The Promises Pay It Forward x Copper Penny Misty Blue *D AR 1963)

Harvey has turned out to be one of my very favorite bucks, and I am so glad to have retained him. His dam, Moon, was a wonderful little doe with a very well attached mammary system that was quite capacious- she made Top 10 for one day milk test as a second freshener, and at the time was a good three inches shorter than any other doe in the Top 10. Harvey isn't nearly as steep in the rump as he looks in this picture- he levels out very nicely on the move, and has very flat bone, nice spring of rib, and throws some gorgeous daughters. I have to say, it would be very tempting to keep him just on the basis of his personality, since he is incredibly sweet and very mellow. His dam was one leg short of being our second triple-finished champion and had nine best udder awards when we unexpectedly lost her just a few days before she was due to kid in 2010. I am really thankful to have kept this buck out of her to carry on in our herd. His kids, both in my herd and in the herds of others, have consistently shown very nice general appearance, being long bodied with flat bone. His daughters have had nice MSLs, teat placement, rear udder height, texture and attachment.

Harvey's daughters have done quite well in the show ring! Permanent Champion daughters include GCH Castle Rock Snownamie 2*M 4*D VEEE 90, CH Castle Rock Helen of Troy, CH Castle Rock Penny For Luck, GCH Castle Rock Ice Floe, GCH 3G Family Farm HM Peaches, and CH-ARMCH Castle Rock Sweet Heart.

CRF Castle Rock Mr. Lincoln
DOB 2/15/8

Sire: Woodhaven Farms Latigo +S
(Woodhaven Farms TKO +S x Woodhaven Farms Shaula Parker)
Dam: TX Twin Creeks WDF Sunsprite
(MCH-CH Pecan Hollow Willy's Dance Fever *S x MCH-CH Goodwood Good Day Sunshine E)

I had offered this buck for sale, until I took another look at his pedigree  and realized that this guy has some really nice bloodlines and is not closely related to the other bucks in my buck pasture. He's very dairy and flat boned with a level top line, and a sweeter than candy personality. I wanted to add some of Latigo's genetics to the herd since he seemed to add refinement to his daughters, and I really like many aspects of Sunsprite's mammary system and would like to see those traits in more of my herd.  His first kid crop has turned out to be very nice- lots of length of body, angularity, corectness, and super, super friendly personalities, and he has a finished champion daughter- CH-MCH Sly Farms ML Hollywood. We decided to keep a buck (Chicago Peace) out of Mr. Lincoln's littermate sister GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun, and the buck pasture was getting pretty crowded, so we made the tough decision to let Mr. Lincoln move on.

Dragonfly Odyseuss *S
DOB 3/13/08

Sire: Rosasharn TL U'gene *S
(ARMCH Rosasharn's Tiger L +*S E x ARMCH Rosasharn's Uni 3*D E)
Dam: ARMCH Dragonfly Calliope *D E
(Stonewall's Apocalypse Now +*S x Fairlea Louise)

I was planning on waiting a bit to get a buck from Dragonfly Farm, but when the opportunity came to add Ody to the buck pasture, I had to take it.  He is very sharp, level and smoothly blended with a nice set of feet and legs, and good angularity.  He has a tremendous amount of milk behind him, with Uni holding the number one spot for 305 day production from 2003-2006.

Ody has moved to a new home, but we have retained daughter CH Castle Rock Siren Song 3*D 2*M in the herd.

CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir ++*B +S
DOB 2/18/07

Sire: Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++*S ++*B
(MCH Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch ++*S E x MCH-CH Gay Mor's JJU Nonpareil 3*D)
Dam: CH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90
(Promisland CP Yellowjacket x Pecan Hollow Bonnie Blue)

Sometimes I break my own rules. When Guy Noir's dam was a first freshener she had an amazing udder for a first freshener, and having seen how well her dam's udder held up over the years, I decided to keep this guy intact.  Since then, she has continued to freshen with an incredibly high, wide udder and is such a pleasure to milk too with very nicely sized teats that have very open orifices, and I've been quite happy with my decision to keep Guy as a buck.  I am pleased with how he is looking-- he's got smoothness of blending, a very wide, open escutcheon, dairy character, and tops it all off with a very sweet personality. One quirk I have noticed is that his sons seem to take at least three years to gain any depth of barrel, and several have gone through a why-did-I-leave-that-buck-intact stage between the ages of two and three, though this is not true of his daughters.

At the 2008 AGS National Show, a trio of Guy Noir's doe kids won Best Get of Sire, and two of his daughters- Little Dipper GN Flashdance, and Sly Farms GN Catalina, have won best junior doe in show at all-breed goat shows. I'm very pleased with the general appearance and dairy character of his offspring so far.

Update: Guy now has five finished champion daughters- CH-MCH Sly Farms GN Catalina, SGCH CRF Castle Rock Penny Wise 1*M 3*D VVEE 90, GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Black Ice 4*D 2*M EEEE 92, CH Castle Rock Lunar Eclipse VEEE 91, and GCH CRF Castle Rock Roxanne *D 1*M VEEE 91. At the 2010 REDGA Nigerian Specialty show three of Guy's first freshening daughters won Senior Get of Sire, and CRF Castle Rock Roxanne was Best Udder of Breed, and his daughters repeated this at the 2013 REDGA Nigerian Specialty Show as five year olds, with Roxanne again getting Best Udder of Breed. At the 2015 ADGA National Show, a trio of his daughters won 3rd place Get of Sire. The judges have noted that Guy's daughters were stamped with dairy character, and all had very good height and arch to the escutcheon. It is so nice to see those daughters of his who showed so much promise as juniors living up to that promise as they freshen.

(MCH OTR Magic's M Heracles x ARMCH Stonewall's Little Luli *D)
Dam: ARMCH Fairlea Gretchen 2*D E)
(MCH Fairlea Diggory Venn x MCH Fairlea Heidi *D)

Barnaby is the full brother (although definitely not a litter mate of) ARMCH Fairlea Fleur 3*D E, a doe I have long admired, and comes from a line of does with well attached, capacious udders. He is long, angular, flat boned and has a good amount of dairy character and really nice spring of rib. I'd like to see his front legs a bit straighter when viewed from the side. He has gotten even friendlier over time, seemingly the first to meet me at the gate, and he'll follow me around the pasture while I'm doing chores. His daughter, GCH CRF Castle Rock Irish Cream, was our first doe to finish as a first freshener, and we retained his son out of GCH CRF Castle Rock Tesla before letting him move on. He is one of the first nigerian bucks to earn a Superior Genetics designation from ADGA.

Buttin'Heads Sharp No.2 Pencil
DOB 3/10/04

Sire: Sugar Creek's Sharp Shooter *S

Dam: CH Buttin'Heads Polished Apple
(Buttin'Heads Polska Kielbasea *S x CH - ARMCH Buttin'Heads Wedding Song 3*D)

Pencil is an extremely dairy buck with veryflat bone.  He has an especially good front end assembly with good legs and exceptionally tight shoulders, a high escutcheon, and nice angularity. His maternal half sister from this spring will be the first Nigerian doeling featured at ADGA's Spotlight sale at this year's National Show. I expect this boy to be a down-size buck, who will add some elegance, lots of dairyness and good udder attachments to his daughters. He can be found in the background of both GCH CRF Castle Rock Roxanne, and Castle Rock Gorgonzola.

Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++*S ++*B
DOB 2/17/3

Dam: MCH-GCH Gay Mor's JJU Nonpareil 3*D 1*M
(Gay-Mor Berry's Johnny Jump-Up +*S x Gay Mor Tut's Lorna Doone 2*D AR 1570)

He's the littermate brother of ARMCH Castle Rock Sky Lupine 2*D's sire, and we were so pleased with her mammary system (Sky has eleven best udder awards!) that we wanted to incorporate more of those genetics into our herd.  He has several full siblings around the country, and his full sisters have very nice mammary systems, and his full brothers have been producing very nice kids as well.  I've consistently seen an improvement in dairy character and udder capacity in his daughters and was impressed by his daughter SGCH-ARMCH Castle Rock Alum Root 3*D VEEE 91 scoring an almost ideal MSL and teat placement on Linear Appraisal. He has at least three finished champion offspring on the ground, and several daughters who have earned milking legs as well. While Montego is no longer in our herd, his son CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir continues in his stead, and has himself produced four finished champion daughters (so far).

Twin Creeks PD Moneyinthebank 'VG'
DOB 2/13/99  height 23" at 5+ years

Sire: PGCH/MCH Willow Creek Paydirt
(Willow Creek Hoodlum x Goodwood Milkweed)
Dam: PGCH/MCH Raha Acres Twink's Pixie *D 'E' (2 x National Champion!)
(Goodwood Mr. Periwinkle x Dav-Lyn Twinkle Toes)

Banker comes from wonderful parents, and has produced a MCH/PGCH son- Ponders End MTB Wall Street, and is the grandfather of our ARMCH/GCH/PGCH Esperanza WS Sara *D. He stands on very straight legs with good toes, and his front end assembly is still very tight and smoothly blended with withers sharp enough to cut glass. He is very long with wide ribs, pliable skin, depth of barrel, and he is level from thurl to thurl. His dam's line has proven itself all over the country, and we can definitely see his stamp on his daughters. They have increased length of body, dairy character, udder capacity, and improved teat placement over their dams- they tend to be the smartest does in our herd too! Update: Banker is the sire of the 2008 AGS Reserve National Champion & Best Udder Doe, SGCH/MCH Castle Rock Rainy Day Fund *D currently owned by 3G Family Farms.

Weisy is the sire of Christabelle grandfather of Annabelle. He seems to consitantly bring general correctness and length of body to his kids and grandkids.
